Character cards introduce the character and scenario, with descriptions and tags that help you decide what interests you. You can look through different personalities, read the scene’s premise, and use preference filters to narrow your choices.

Start with something specific that appeals to you: a familiar relationship dynamic, a conversation with a new character, or a setting you would like to explore. That gives the interaction a direction while leaving room for it to develop.

Shape the Conversation as It Unfolds

Open a character’s scenario and respond to the opening line. The character replies within the scene, and your next message gives the exchange a new direction. You might answer a question, make a choice, or introduce a detail you want the character to respond to.

A card-game exchange in our demo shows how this works. During the conversation, the character asks the user to choose between “hit” and “stand.” The user types “Hit,” and the character responds with a draw and continues the exchange.
